Eating and living the paleo way does not mean that you have to shun the delicious snacks. Let’s not ignore the fact that we are living in 2018. So if you were under the notion that paleo diet is a drag then our blog post will leave you really elated.

Here is the list of our favorite and the best paleo snacks!

1. Mediterranean Hummus

Paleo diet means getting rid of chickpeas, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t have hummus. A very popular option amongst paleo diet followers Mediterranean hummus is made by cleverly substituting chickpeas with cauliflower and eggplants. Tastes yummy and packs the paleo punch of health.

2. Melon prosciutto

A great tasting paleo snack. Requires zero cooking and is lip-smacking. Just pick up your favorite melon type and wrap it with prosciutto. What you have in your hands is a juicy and salty snack to savor.

3. Brussels sprouts and bacon snack

Bacon coupled with some brussels sprout and some added fruit toppings make up for a great paleo snack. Just try it out and we are sure this will become a staple paleo snack for you.

4. Eggs and avocados

Hard boil the eggs, take the egg yolk and mash it with garlic and avocado. Fill them up on the egg whites like stuffings. You have a great tasting and a very healthy snack in your hands.

5. Egg cups

Actually, these are baked egg cups. Just add some bacon and fresh greens with the egg and bake it. Hardly takes 15 minutes to cook, is yummy and very healthy. Give it a try, perfect for Sunday brunches we say.

6. Tuna and avocado salad

Now, this is one protein packed snack. Scoop out the avocado from the middle and fill it with cooked tuna mince mixed with ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper. Eat and you will always remember the lip-smacking flavor and the added health benefits.

7. Butter Squash and bacon mix

Wrap some butter squash with bacon and bake it a little. You have a snack that’s packed with health benefits and is a relish in every sense.

8. Stuffed Peppers

Take your regular fresh peppers and cut them in halves. Now stuff them either with eggs, fish or your favorite meat. Bake it till cooked properly and add some lemon juice, pepper, and salt. What you have here is a snack that can become a meal. The best part about this is that there are so many variations that can be tried. This snack is something which everyone would love to eat.

9. Roasted Sweet Potatoes

Sweet potatoes are a boon for everyone following the paleo diet. Being versatile is what this vegetable is all about, it can be cooked in so many ways. For this snack just cut the sweet potatoes in wedges and coat them with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake them till cooked and you have a healthy and tasty paleo snack in your hands.
